Martians, Sun Gods, and Bicycles

I just wanted to make an update on some of things I have been working on. Recently I've been working on my portfolio and I have been creating the opening and closing page images for my book. The first image I did, I wanted to show my interest in the editorial market for female publications. This shows my process. Here is my sketch with color:

Here are more pieces I'm in the process of completing. The first, my martian lady, is for the closing page of my portfolio and the last, is for my world mythology class. It will be an illustration of the Australian sun goddess, Gnowee.
